Villa Karllösa is the name and also the address of our house.
It was built in the early 1930s for the nursing students who were learning their profession in the nearby sanatorium.
Men were not officially allowed in Villa Karllösa, which is why the house was given the name “Karllösa” (manless).
As it can be assumed, the couples in love quickly found a way out – the fire escapes at the house.
Some of these couples still live in the area today as married couples.
We have been told many nice stories and they say the laughter can still be heard in the walls of the house.
